WELCOME// I am a Toronto-based movement teacher with 15+ years experience. I specialize in working 1:1 with clients to help them find an approach to movement that is enjoyable, supportive and empowering.
With a B.Sc. in psychology and an M.A. in spiritual care and psychotherapy, I am passionate about teaching in a way that addresses the whole person- body, mind and spirit. I strive to provide instruction that is dynamic, inclusive, practical, and sensitive, with a focus on tailoring practices to your unique needs and circumstances. I also aim to take an approach that is trauma aware and anti-oppression based.
My teaching is ecclectic and I have trainings in yoga (hatha, restorative, vinyasa), mat pilates, strength training, movement for trauma, body politics, fascial stretch therapy and mindfulness based stress reduction. I am continually curious about finding ways of moving and being in our bodies that draw us into deeper connection with our selves and the world around us. I believe in movement as a powerful practice for healing, strength and joy.
